Palliative Care

The goal of this self-learning module is to provide additional tools to health professionals caring for neonates diagnosed with life-limiting conditions to:

Help guide symptom management of the newborns affected;
Improve the comfort and confidence of health professionals through a standardized approach (adaptable by various institutions based on local availability of medications of comparable classes);
Provide a teaching tool regarding the administration technique of intranasal medications used in neonatology for pain and distress at the end of life.
